Hi! I'm Lucy and I am a Nutritional Therapist who is a firm believer in the healing power of nature. My career as an Intensive Care Nurse and own health challenges have fuelled my interest in natural health and nutrition. I have personally seen how nutritional therapy improved my quality of life and is my passion to help people master their health, one meal at a time!

I chose to study Nursing at Kings College London many years ago to simply help sick people get better. With first hand clinical experience dealing with patients in the Intensive Care setting, I could see the medical model routinely aiding in symptom control and often failing to address the root cause of disease. Over time this could lead to biochemical imbalances in the body potentially causing a myriad of symptoms. If uncorrected, this leads us down the route of chronic disease. I soon realised that the body is an astounding biochemical machine which craves the right nutrients and environment to thrive.

After experimenting with my own diet and seeing success in my energy levels, weight and mood I soon realised the healing power of food. I decided to take more of a holistic approach to healthcare and studied at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London to understand the evidence based effects of nutrition. I am a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist and regularly undergo continued professional development to keep up to date with current research. As we are all so unique, I take a holistic approach with each one of my clients to ensure their plans are tailored to their individual needs.

I strongly believe in natural health and well-being as it is improving every aspect of my life. I am still on my own healing journey today and would love to hear from you as I share my experiences, knowledge and recipes on Nourished by Lucy. If you are interested in booking a consultation or have any questions for me please do get in touch.

In great health,

Lucy
